Computer Science & Engineering (Data Science)
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering (Data Science) at Bangalore Technological Institute is a newly approved programme for the academic year 2025-26, with an AICTE-approved intake of 60 seats, affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. This specialised four-year B.E. programme focuses on the science and engineering of extracting knowledge from data,combining computer science fundamentals with statistics, machine learning, big data technologies and data engineering to prepare graduates for the data-driven economy.

Mission
- To provide a strong foundation in computer science, mathematics and statistics that underpins modern data science practice.
- To develop proficiency in industry-standard tools, frameworks and platforms for data collection, processing, analysis and visualisation.
