The Department of Civil Engineering at BTI offers a four-year B.E. programme with an AICTE-approved intake of 30 seats, affiliated to VTU, Belagavi. Civil Engineering is the oldest engineering discipline, encompassing structural design, geotechnical engineering, transportation, environmental engineering, surveying and construction management,preparing students to shape the built environment.

Professor & Head of the Civil Engineering department with 42 years of teaching experience. Ph.D. in Structural Engineering. Holds a patent (2022) for "Ready Mix Composition and a Process for Its Preparation." Published 16 journal papers. Member of ISTE and ICI. Recipient of the Best Teacher Award.
