Welcome to the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Bangalore Technological Institute, Bangalore. The Department has been functioning for the past Ten years (since 2010) with an intake of 60 students and department has defined vision & mission and continually striving towards the set goals.
Our department has leading-edge infrastructure facilities including the latest & capital intensive simulation software and hardware. These labs promise to pose new and challenging problems to the students and provide the necessary knowledge. The department has the spectrum of highly motivated team headed by Prof. Deepa. T, who dedicate themselves in imparting technical education in the areas of Electronics Design, Integrated Circuits, Electromagnetic Field, Communication systems, Digital Signal Processing, VLSI Design and related software and hardware toolsto the students. The incessantly maintained student-teacher relationship helps in bringing out the latent talent of the students and updates them to evolve as complete professionals.
The students are also taught with critical thinking and problem-solving skills to accommodate their future with confidence. Our students are always encouraged to take part in co-curricular and extracurricular activities in various state-level / national-level competitions including national level symposiums and international conferences. The department always has impressive placement records as our students getting placed in reputed companies with a very good pay band.
Course Opportunities
The students through our Training and Placement cell have been placed in the prestigious position in both Academic and Industrial fields. Our students undergo rigorous training on curricular and co-curricular activities and are shaped to face the competitive world. Many of our students pursue higher education. In addition to this, MOUs are also signed with corporates to support student placement training, carrier opportunities, internship programme and industrial projects.
